Dear family and friends,
As many of you know 2019 was full of new beginnings for our family when Scarlet Iris Frey eased into our lives and expanded our family this year. We are excited to share that we have begun the process of adoption with Lifetime Adoptions and hope to be welcoming another addition to our family soon!
While the adoption process is, understandably, difficult in terms of its comprehensiveness it is also a fairly expensive process averaging more than $40,000. As we begin this journey many of you have asked how you can support -- in lieu of baby shower gifts, if you would like to contribute, please consider giving to help fund the remainder of our adoption fees. Donations will be applied to our agency fees, home study, legal fees, birth mother expenses, travel, lodging, post adoption fees etc.
So, in the same spirit that people have baby showers, we’d like to think of this as our “adoption shower”. A chance for our friends and family to help support our future family. We figured this would be the best way for you to give since we can’t put together a registry for a child we don’t know about quite yet.
If you have received a puzzle piece in the mail please sign the back and return. The puzzle will hang in the nursery to represent all of your love and support and become apart of their adoption story. We can't express to you our gratitude for the outpouring of support we have received now and throughout the last 6 years of our journey building our family! We know that growing our family through adoption is exactly where we are meant to be. We are over the moon excited to share this chapter with you.
