Freya’s fundraiser for Swaledale Mountain Rescue :)
Donation protected
In less than 8 weeks, on the 27th April I’ll cross the start line of the London Marathon. Running 26.2 miles is a challenge that I am both excited and grateful to be training for.
On a personal note, a marathon is something I have always wanted to achieve. I was extremely lucky to have received a ballot place in this years marathon and although fundraising is not required, I have chosen to support the Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team - an organisation run by a group of volunteers attending incidents within the Swaledale and Wensleydale areas of North Yorkshire.
The team supported me back in 2019 from a horse riding accident and I’ll forever be grateful to them for their work in our area. I hope to contribute a donation to support the team in their amazing work, ensuring they have the resources needed to continue providing life-saving services in North Yorkshire.
If you can, any donations would be greatly appreciated :)
Thank you!
