Hi everyone. I’m fundraising for my husband and my family. Last week on Monday, my husband got stung by a bee. Thursday, his arm got severely swollen. At the same time, he became severely sick with Covid symptoms and vomiting. Yesterday morning, I had to rush him to the ER. What started as a bee sting, led to cellulitis and sepsis. Little that we knew, the bee sting will be saving his life. Tests showed he has 3 blocked arteries and will have to have open heart surgery. On top of all this. I was just laid off December 1st and lost our medical insurance. I just started a new job but don’t know at this point taking time off to care for my husband after only a week employed, if I will still have a job to go back to. And if I do, medical insurance will not go into affect until February 2024. We are asking for donations no matter how small to help with Jose’s medical expenses, traveling to and from the hospital, co payments for doctor visits, medications since he doesn’t qualify for Medicaid, after care once he goes home and general help to keep a roof over our heads. We are eternally grateful for all the love, prayers and support. We are humble people and I don’t usually ask for help unless I’m at the point I can’t do something on own.
