Frick Cancer: Help Save Axel

As many of you know, Axel is my 11 year old pit mix. He’s been my baby and my road dog since the day we met! In early December I found a mass in his neck that turned out to be Thyroid cancer and it has almost doubled in size since then. After biopsies, X-rays, CT images, and shopping around, we’ve determined that surgery (a thyroidectomy) is the best option with a good prognosis. We are hoping to complete his surgery before the mass grows further and affects his breathing, so his appointment is scheduled for 1/28. I am a student and my partner Nick has been supporting us, so we’ve decided together we need to ask our friends and family for help. Anything you can contribute to help ease the strain for us is so tremendously meaningful.
