In memory of Benjamin Eaglesham, who sadly passed away on 9th February 2020, we are raising funds for a cause dear to his heart, Fridays For Future.
Help Ben to campaign for a brighter future for the youth of the world.
Fridays For Future è un movimento studentesco che raccoglie gruppi di ragazzi da tutto il mondo per lottare contro i cambiamenti climatici e sensibilizzare istituzioni e cittadini su questo importante tema. Benjamin faceva parte del gruppo monzese del movimento, nato ormai un anno fa. Con il movimento, Benjamin ha organizzato decine di assemblee, incontri, conferenze e dibattiti sul tema ambientale, oltre che quattro scioperi globali, portando migliaia di persone a manifestare in piazza. Benjamin teneva molto alla causa, per questo ci si impegnava quotidianamente.
Il movimento si è sempre retto in piedi grazie a donazioni volontarie o eventi di autofinanziamento, ragion per la quale ogni contributo è fondamentale. Con quanto raccolto, Fridays For Future Monza porterà avanti le sue attività, potrà organizzare altre manifestazioni e azioni concrete di salvaguardia e manifestare in piazzain cui anche Benjamin viveva.
Fridays For Future is a student movement which gathers together groups of young people from all over the world in order to fight against climate change and raise awareness among institutions and the general public on this important issue. Benjamin was part of the movement's Monza group, formed a year ago, in March 2019.
With the movement, Benjamin organized dozens of assemblies, meetings, conferences and debates on environmental issues, as well as four global strikes, bringing thousands of people to demonstrate in public protests. Benjamin was devoted to the movement, and for this reason he worked hard for it every day.
The movement has always depended on voluntary donations or self-financing events, which is why every contribution made now is fundamental. With the proceeds of this fundraiser , Fridays For Future Monza will continue its activities: it will be able to organize further events and concrete actions in order to safeguard and protect the territory in which Benjamin also lived.
