FRIENDS FOREVER FIGHT TOGETHER!

My name is Julie. I am fundraising to help my best friend, Beth, and her family. Beth has known me since I was 6 weeks old. She was almost 3 when her grandmother started keeping me. We grew up together, and have remained friends for over 50 years. Beth's husband, Jody has been diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma. Jody works for an electrical supply company, but he is really a musician. Music is his passion. He had been unable to play his guitar recently due to having severe pain in his head and neck, so he went to the doctor. That is when they found a tumor at the base of his skull. Jody is currently unable to drive and unable to work, and Beth is having to take time off from her job to drive Jody to his appointments and chemo treatments in Atlanta. Their family is like most of ours. They live paycheck to paycheck, and now with Jody out of work and Beth not getting a full week, just the monthly bills and groceries are a huge worry for them. For those of you who have also had a growing, teenage son at home (like they do), you know just how expensive groceries can be. I would like to raise enough money so that they don't have to worry about their house payment and groceries while Jody is undergoing treatment. Please help me take some of the burden off of my best friend and her family. Any amount is appreciated - no matter how small. Every little bit adds up. I have over 1000 friends on Facebook.
