Friends helping Billy and Debbie Randell
Donation protected
As Port Rexton Area community members, we all know and love these wonderful people and their family. Always with a kind smile and entertaining conversation.
During the past 15 plus years they have gone through some of the toughest times imaginable. Having to be concerned about expenses shouldn’t be their worry right now. So a fundraiser is what we need to do for them…
Billy was first diagnosed in March 2007 with stage 3 brain cancer. His 1st surgery was June 4th 2007.
Followed by 18 rounds of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation. 15 years had passed only to discover the cancer returned, he had to have a second surgery. This surgery was Feb 25th, 2022. He has a long road ahead receiving chemo and radiation. During Billy’s journey Debbie was diagnosed on September 23rd, 2019 with small cell cancer. Her left lung collapsed, and she also has cancer in her lymph nodes in her throat, liver and bones and it has since travelled to her brain. Mistaken for a stroke on Feb 10th 2022, Debbies brain cancer has grown and spread and is starting to affect her memory. She starts radiation again this week and is put back on steroids to reduce the swelling in her brain.
Debbie has been unable to work since getting diagnosed and Billy won’t be able to work for a while now since having surgery.
This fundraiser will help ease some of the financial burden so both of these wonderful people can concentrate on getting better.
Please donate what you can. A small goal has been set to help alleviate the worry of bills while in recovery.
The Randell family would like thank you all for your messages, phone calls, well wishes and prayers.
