Friends Helping Mike Whitlock Recovery

Donation protected
Help Mike Whitlock with Post Stroke recovery expenses.

In January, while undergoing a procedure to remove a blood clot from his brain, Mike suffered a debilitating stroke. While he does have insurance, it will not cover all of the costs of an extensive hospital and rehabilitation center stay. He will also be receiving intense at home physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

Mike is a Portland native, and graduated from Portland High School in 1979. Mike and Gina’s strong and loving bond began in 1978 when they met as teenagers. They were married in 1985, and live in Westbrook. They have raised two wonderful children, Alyssa and Brandon.

Mike started his NAPA career 40 years ago. He spent most of those years as a store manager in South Portland, Portland, Buxton, Westbrook, and Windham. Throughout these years, he has earned the respect and admiration of all.

We are asking for assistance and support through your donations to cover excess medical and rehabilitation costs. This will help Mike focus his energy on getting better and lighten the load that unforeseen medical emergencies bring.

Mike’s road ahead is going to be a challenge, but with your support and his strong will, he will continue to make progress.
