Brett Kellems End of Life Expenses

Brett passed away 10/23/2019 at 5:28 PM in peace and pain free in hospice care at Carle. This campaign is now being used for end of life expenses for his cremation and a celebration of life party as well as paying any lingering costs from his 3 month stay at Carle. Tina Kellems (Brett’s Mother) “Brett was up yesterday, He walked to the door way of his room and back. The Dr came in and capped his trachea so he can now talk. Soon they will be moving him to the 3rd floor from ICU to start rehab. Brett may be there for another 30 days of treatment. Brett has something called protein C deficiency that affects his liver by making his blood to thick. He is going to require a liver transplant within the next 6 month's or so. Brett will have to go to Northwestern in Chicago for the transplant. Brett still has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but I know with a lot of hard work he can get better.
