Support for Danny Payne

Hello friends, I am a close friend of Danny Payne and his family. I am starting this Go Fund Me page in hopes of helping with the financial burden that is a direct result of Danny's injuries. Danny was attacked on Saturday March 3, 2018 at Fatz Cafe due to no fault of his own. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot release any other information regarding the attack as it is under investigation. The suspect has been arrested and is awaiting extradition. Once more information is released, we promise to update it here. We can tell you Danny has sustained numerous injuries including a TBI, several brain bleeds, and a fractured eye socket. He is currently fighting for his life in the ICU. As of now, we do not know his prognosis. We are being told he has a very long road to recovery if he survives the injuries and even then, they are not sure of what disabilities he will suffer with for the rest of his life. This is a tragedy NO family should ever have to endure at the hands of another individual.

Danny has been the sole provider for his family for their entire lives. He has worked endless hours even at the age of 63 to support his wife who is disabled and unable to work. I am praying that this will help ease the financial stress on his wife as she sits by his bedside in the ICU. Danny and Connie have been married for 48 years, they have five grown daughters, and sixteen grandchildren and great grandchildren who adore their Grandaddy. He has always dedicated his life to his family from coaching his girls’ sporting teams to attending events for his grandchildren.

The family is asking first and foremost for your prayers for their husband, dad and granddaddy but if you find it within your heart to give and help ease the burden on his wife, I know the family would be so very thankful. They would like to thank everyone for their continued support, thoughts and prayers.
