Friends of David Conroy fund raiser
To every community and organization who knew Dave,
The tragic death of David Conroy on Thursday the 19th of August in Duleek will be a day that every one of us will never forget. His early departure has left a huge void in the lives of his family and community. Dave looked after his
family as the soul bread winner in his career with Morris Ventilation and was earning his hard earned wages when
this terrible tragedy struck. He looked after the bills ,Mortgage and general few bob that allowed his family to do
nice things. He and Jackie were a team that always looked after their family business.
Outside of work and family ,he gave everything to his community and to other communities that he touched. In
particular ,he has helped the football wellbeing of countless young kids and coaches with his undying love for
Laytown Utd and Drogheda Utd. The tributes coming in across the country in the media is the tip of the iceberg of what this legend gave. He Co Founded a small Seaside Club in Laytown Utd which now has 300 kids training and
playing matches every week. He oversaw their development over the years by educating himself and surrounding himself with the best coaches in Ireland. If he seen a drill outside his club, he would steal with pride and take it back to his Coaches and players .His energy for the good of others was relentless.
His wife Jackie and kids Lee(22), Cheryll (29)Alex,(12),Dayne (10) and Heidi (8) now need our support in this time of need. Jackie will be embarrassed by this campaign. It is not something that she foresaw happening to her young husband and not something his kids foresaw so early in their innocent lives.
Jackie, this is not embarrassing. This is a drop in the ocean what Dave did for everyone he met.If he got paid by the hour on what he did for others, no Gofundme page would cover his time for others.
Please give generously to Daves Family,
