Blessings to everyone reading this!
We’re reaching out to family and friends who may be able to help support our dearest Karen and Aaron Carter. Karen was recently diagnosed with early onset Dementia at the young age of 54. She has not been able to work and does not yet qualify for any financial assistance from the government due to her age. Between doctor appointments, medications, bills and a home health attendant, Aaron has been holding them down out of pocket and doing his best to stay afloat, while learning how to LIVE with Karen’s recent diagnosis. We understand that everyone has their own burdens to bear, but we wanted to see if we could pull together as friends and AJ Family and try to offer assistance of some sort. Anything at all helps!
**The term early onset dementia refers to dementia that first occurs in a person under age 65. The dementia may be caused by Alzheimer's disease or other diseases and conditions. People who have early onset dementia may be in any stage of dementia – early, middle, or late. It affects your memory, thinking, and behavior. It often progresses to the point where it affects daily activities and functions.**
