Friends of Mathew Lohr - Celebration of Life

Mat Lohr was a best friend to everyone. Help us celebrate his life with a donation to give him the memorial celebration he deserves.

Our beloved Mathew recently passed.

Mat was one of a kind. He was a wonderful friend and touched the lives of everyone around him. He was rougher than rough around the edges, but had the kindest heart. Mat had a love of the river, his friends and a cold beer. His passions included working on airplanes and anything mechanical. He had a talent for this like no other. The man was a genius! Mat always managed to find the positivity in 98% of situations. We all admired that quality in Mat because we all struggle from time to time. Everyone of us has those moments. We are blessed in life to have even one person who shines light on our day and maybe adds perspective we didn’t realize we needed. Without knowing, Mat was that for many of us.

We are so deeply saddened by this tragedy. Our friend didn’t know his impact or value he had in our lives.

We are raising funds for a celebration of life. All remaining proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention in Mat's honor.
