Friends of ODBQ
In November James Odell owner of ODBQ located in Ambridge
temporarily closed his restaurant to take care of his mother in New
York. What was supposed to be a short closure turned out to be an
extended one and the loss of revenue has forced him to make the
very difficult decision to close the business for good.
To everyone who has enjoyed the wonderful food and atmosphere
at ODBQ, we are asking for your help to keep his restaurant up and
running.
Like the majority of the businesses in Ambridge, he has helped a
number of youth organizations and fundraisers by donating gift cards.
He has allowed people to place canisters in his shop to help them
raise money. James also helps a number of local families
with donations of food. He is always willing to feed people who come in and say that they are hungry but have little money. James donated time and food to help get Ambridge Football Boosters out of the red.
He regularly donates food to local church missionaries.
People come from all over the area to Ambridge and have become
regular ODBQ customers.
There are many newspaper articles and YouTube videos of people
coming to experience what he has to offer.
James' mom cannot afford a home healthcare nurse, so he has
had to split his time between New York and Ambridge and
during the recent long closing, he lost supplies that will
need to be re-stocked in order to reopen.
Let's help James help his mom and reopen the restaurant that
all of his many customers and community have come to love.
Thank you!
