Friends of Rescue: Abandoned Puppies

PUPPY UPDATE

So our awareness appeal yesterday brought to a light another puppy who joined the litter last night.

This little lady arrived with us very lethargic and weak but thankfully after some fluids and joining her litter mates, she was much brighter and continues to improve today.

We have had a lot of comments on the page after the appeal to bring these puppies into a rescue, that they might already be in loving homes and we don’t dispute that but it’s to 2/3 weeks too early and they have no medical check ups or work done. We might not have mama but puppies learn more from their littermates at this point in their lives than they do from their mother and this is something humans can not imitate!!

We don’t want to be taking puppies out of homes that want them or love them already but we and those families know it’s about doing the right thing and if they want to adopt them responsibly they can do so through rescue ✔️
