Friends of Rescue: Beautiful Betty

OUR HEARTS

It’s been a long time since we have been so saddened by a case, whilst trying to be positive without much hope

Our beautiful Betty girl, she joined us from the pound and my goodness what a sweet sweet angel. Unfortunately she has suffered some head trauma, so she walks very wobbly and to one side, with a strong head tilt

She has so many tumours, one of which is on her stomach and it actually looks like internal organs on the outside. She is on meds and is back to our vets for reassessment and a plan

All we know about her is that she is about 10 years old. She is one happy girl in ‘Betty's World’ she is so lovely and kind and just loves the company of other dogs. It makes us so sad and sore to think someone watched her this way then just abandoned her when she needed them most

Her foster hasn’t left her side and she loves her for that. We have found a couple of wee quirks about her, she loves the boot of the car, as soon as she is in the boots of the car she snoozes and my goodness she is a noisy sleeper and you daren't let dinner time go past 5 or you will get the quiestets honky bark right in the face

We are so worried, the tumours look so angry, we really really want to be able to fix her but we don’t know if there is much hope for her in terms of her health. We are praying we really are
