Friends of San Jose Cemetery

Wednesday, October 30, The San Jose Montopolis Cemetery is sponsoring a Community Tamalada at 6 pm hosted by Red Salmon Arts, 2000 Thrasher Ln. 78741 in East Austin.

JOIN US IN COMMUNITY TO LEARN, EXPERIENCE, AND BE HANDS-ON IN MAKING HOMEMADE TAMALES!

Tamales will be made from scratch and served for free at the November 1 and 2 Fandango Dia de Muertos at San Jose I Cemetery (718 Montopolis Dr.) and also San Jose II Cemetery (8101 Posten Ln).

Funds received will purchase the ingredients to make;

Green chile and cheese tamales, and

Bean and cheese tamales.

We will meet at 2000 Thrasher Ln at 6 pm with pots and ingredients and begin.

This event is BYOB if you wish.

El miércoles 30 de octubre, el cementerio de San José Montopolis patrocina una Tamalada comunitaria a las 6:00 p. m. organizada por Red Salmon Arts, 2000 Thrasher Ln. 78741 en East Austin.

¡ÚNASE A NOSOTROS EN LA COMUNIDAD PARA APRENDER, EXPERIMENTAR Y SER PARTE PRÁCTICA EN LA PREPARACIÓN DE TAMALES CASEROS!

Los tamales se prepararán desde cero y se servirán gratis en el Fandango Día de Muertos del 1 y 2 de noviembre en el cementerio de San José I (718 Montopolis Dr.) y también en el cementerio de San José II (8101 Posten Ln).

Los fondos recibidos comprarán los ingredientes para hacer;

tamales de chile verde y queso, y

tamales de frijoles y queso.

Nos reuniremos en 2000 Thrasher Ln a las 6:00 p. m. con ollas e ingredientes y comenzaremos.

Este evento es BYOB si lo desea.
