Friendship Center Children’s Camp & Retreat Center
Hello Friends,
For those who are unaware Brennan Peter DeLap passed away July 16, 2021 unexpectedly at the age of 27. Brennan was an arborist, naturalist, horticulturist and loved the outdoors. The Friendship Center Children’s Camp and Retreat Center was a special place for Brennan where he felt at home. He spent time with many friends there learning, foraging, and building strong relationships. In his passing, the center allowed us to plant a White Oak tree in his honor and they constructed an accompanying memorial bench. Bonnie and I feel a special bond as well to the Friendship Center and consequently want to help continue their mission of inspiring learning and the love of the natural world for generations while honoring our son Brennan. Bonnie and I feel compelled to help the Friendship Center Retreat this coming spring with some construction projects that are desperately needed. The Friendship Center Retreat is located in the Driftless Area of Southwest Wisconsin, between Ridgeway and Dodgeville. The Friendship Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to inspire learning and love of the natural world. We would be so greatly appreciative if you could help us in making this a reality for the Friendship Center in the name of our son Brennan through monetary donations. Bonnie and I have donated frequently to many well-deserved organizations that do so many great things. We will continue to support our friends in their causes and ask for your support now. Thank you for taking the time to read our plea to help us honor our son Brennan. If you feel it is a worthy cause we ask you share with your social media friends and write one sentence of support for it.
Sincerely,
Russ, Bonnie, Chris, Caitlin, and Marissa
