From Darkness to Latte: A Mother's Plea for Help.

A tale of redemption, resilience, and the unyielding power of faith As a single mother, I've watched my daughter, battle addiction and depression for the past decade. It's been a heart-wrenching journey, filled with more pain and sorrow than any parent should have to endure. But in the midst of the darkness, there's a glimmer of hope—a dream that my daughter holds dear to her shattered heart.

At just twenty-one, my daughter’s life has been marked by struggle and loss. Addiction gripped her tightly, dragging her down into the depths of despair, while depression clouded her every thought with a heavy, suffocating fog. By the grace of God, she narrowly escaped death from an overdose, and through divine intervention, she was revived A TRUE MIRACLE. And then, just when she thought she had found a sliver of happiness, tragedy struck in the cruelest of ways—her beloved boyfriend overdosed, leaving her to grapple with the unbearable weight of grief and loss for months. I thank the Lord for my army of prayer warriors to pull her out of this alive.

But even in the midst of her darkest days, she clings to a flicker of hope—a dream of starting her own mobile coffee business to help other girls facing this horrific struggle. It's a simple dream, perhaps, but one that holds the promise of a brighter future, a future where she can reclaim control over her life and find solace in the simple joy of serving others.

As her mother, all I want is to see her find happiness and fulfillment, to see her rise from the ashes of her past and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead. But I can't do it alone. I've exhausted every resource trying to help her, but the burden of her addiction and depression weighs heavy on both of us.
