Help Rebuild My Friend’s Life After the Altadena Wildfires
Dear Friends and Community,
My heart is heavy as I write this. My dear friend, whom I’ve known since we were in college, has lost everything in the devastating Eaton Fires. In just one night, her home, her memories, and the belongings that made up her and her three children’s lives were reduced to ashes.
She and her children, including her youngest daughter, a bright and ambitious high school senior, fled with nothing but their car. Everything they owned—keepsakes, furniture, school supplies, and personal treasures—are gone. Her daughter had spent years collecting items that were meaningful to her, from school projects to sentimental possessions. Now, as she looks forward to what should be an exciting senior year, their family is starting over from nothing.
My friend is a devoted mother and has always been someone who helps others, but now she is the one in need. This loss is unimaginable, and rebuilding will take time, love, and support from all of us.
I’m reaching out to ask for your kindness and generosity. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping them secure basic necessities, find temporary housing, and start the journey of rebuilding their lives.
Please help this incredible family during their darkest moment. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world. Together, we can remind them that they’re not alone and that brighter days lie ahead.
Thank you for your support,
