From Michigan to Uganda: Be Part of Our Life-Saving Mission!
Tax deductible
“One day, I want to be able to use my knowledge and skills to help people or communities in need.” And now, here I am, embarking on my first surgical mission in Uganda with Operation International!. I am honored to be the Team Michigan leader and will bring 17 other surgical team members from all over the US and South America. It will be a week-long mission in October 2024. We will provide surgical care to Ugandan patients with surgical illnesses beyond their local surgeon skills or capacity. Some of them may have been waiting for surgery for a long time including adults and children with cancer. We can't do that alone! I am hoping to raise $3000 NOT to fund myself but to cover medical supplies, equipment, medications, etc. Any funds raised beyond our goal will help offset anything related to this medical mission, sponsoring local orphans and our future missions!
Operation International is a non-profit organization. We provide free medical care to people in need — regardless of gender, cultural, ethnic, political, or religious affiliations. To ensure that our efforts impact underserved communities for years to come, we also offer education and training to local healthcare workers during each of our medical missions, as well as improve hospitals’ infrastructure through equipment donation.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for being part of our journey. Please consider sharing this GoFundMe link with your friends and family. Together, we can change lives and bring hope to this extraordinary community.
