From Pwllheli CC to Gresford CC
Donation protected
As a club, we’ve been thinking of how we could raise funds for some amazing charities which have a personal affiliation to us. As a cricket club in the North Wales Premier League, we thought of the idea to walk to every single club in the league, starting with the furthest west (Pwllheli) and finishing at the club furthest east (Gresford). We plan on doing this walk within a 48 hour window.
On our challenge, we will stop once to sleep at our very own club, Mochdre. The two legs will consist of: day 1 Pwllheli CC to Mochdre CC via Menai Bridge CC, Bangor CC and Llandudno CC - which in total is 56.7 miles. Day 2: Mochdre to Gresford CC via St Asaph CC, Northop CC, Mold CC, Pontblyddyn CC, Brymbo CC and Llay CC. In total 57.7 miles on day two. The grand total mileage will be 114.4 miles, within 48 hours.
The challenge will start 5:00am August 23rd, and we hope to complete it by 5:00am August 25th.
We will be raising funds for the following charities:
St David’s Hospice Llandudno
The Joshua Tree - children’s cancer charity based in North Wales
In addition, we hope to support our own club with some funds to give those disadvantaged children in our community the equipment to participate in our great sport.
We really would be thrilled if you could support us on our journey and we look forward to documenting our challenge!
