From Rock Bottom To The Top of The World

Hi, my name's Lee.

I used to suffer from a 15 year eating disorder, battled with depression and alcohol issues and didn't think I'd live to see my 18th birthday.

I've experienced some extremely challenging times and hit rock bottom.

However, in 2011 when I qualified as a Personal Trainer, fitness saved me and helped turn my life around. Since then, I've become a multi-award winning Fitness Entrepreneur and competed at both a European and World Obstacle Course Racing Championship.

I also celebrated my 41st birthday this year!

With an obsession of Everest since I was young, pushing myself to my limits and motivating & inspiring others, my goal next April 2024, is to travel to Nepal in a bid to take on my biggest challenge to date, lifelong dream and become first female from Aberdeen (7th Scottish female) to conquer the highest mountain in the world.

All whilst raising money for Friends of Anchor and awareness of mental health issues.

As well as showing my son (Jaxon, age 4) and daughter (Léa, age 7) what you can achieve when you believe in yourself.

Not only will this be a major achievement in Scottish and women’s mountaineering history, but with a fear of heights and breathing issues (broncho constriction) triggered by intense exercise and cold temperatures, I'll have to overcome an indescribable amount of mental and physical obstacles in order to achieve my goal.

However, unfortunately climbing the highest mountain in the world is extremely expensive.

And that's where I really need your help!!

From securing my Sherpa, the vast amount of equipment/clothing to flghts and insurance - I have around £50,000 left to raise before January 2024!

If you could please make any kind of donation to help me reach my target, it really would mean everything to me - every penny donated will go directly towards my expedition.

I'm currently funding and investing in all my pre-everest training myself which is costing £1000's alone.

From a Winter Skills course, summitting the highest peak in the UK (Ben Nevis), highest peak in Italy (Gran Paradiso), highest peak in Western Europe (Mont blanc), a marathon to x3 6000m active volcanoes in Ecuador....whilst paying for a coach to help me through it all.

It's an insane amount of money, time and effort but something I truly believe in and 100% commited into making happen.
