Surviving to Thriving: Finding Home

I’ve lived in California my whole life, always staying close to family. But over the past few years, everything has changed. The cost of living here has become unbearable; running in place trying to survive. My home isn’t safe anymore. Immediate change has become necessary.

I need to begin again — to move across the country and build a new life. I have the chance to close the distance gap with the love of my life, and find light in the darkness again. This move isn’t just about geography — it’s about healing, growth, and stepping into a future full of hope.
