From Tragedy To Hope, Help Janna's Road To Recovery

Janna was in a horrible farming accident on Friday, June 14, 2024. She was airing up a tractor tire and it exploded. She was airlifted to UF Shands in Gainesville. Janna has undergone two procedures so far. The first surgery was a right sided craniotomy to remove some of the crushed bones in her skull and allow the brain to swell. Due to spike in intracranial pressure, Janna underwent a second procedure to place an external ventricular drain to bring her intracranial pressure back to an acceptable range. Janna is suffering from a serious skull fracture, a traumatic brain injury as well as other injuries to her body.

At this time, her parents are unable to work so they can be at her bedside during this difficult time. First and foremost, please keep Janna and her family in your prayers.
