From Yeppoon to Yapeen with @jasonbangsforpm

Hi, I’m Jason. I’ll be riding my faithful push bike from Yeppoon in northern Queensland, back home to Yapeen in central Victoria.

I’ll be doing this ride in support of Halt (hope assistance for local tradies)

This time two years ago I had an accident and I was broken! I was in a wheelchair for 3 months, spent the following six on crutches and a walking stick and so on….

It was an 18 month slide before I hit rock bottom but when I did I hit hard! Without the help of others I wouldn’t be here. That simple!!

To try and repay the help I got (and continue to get) I’m gonna try and raise a few quid for a good grass roots organisation!

Riding has once again been my salvation. Whilst Father Time and the best part of 18 months dormant have had a few things to say, I thought it was time to dust off the old brooks saddle and have a crack at something challenging.

It’s gonna be a hell of a ride!!
