Frontline Arts' 50 for 50 Campaign
Tax deductible
For more than 50 years, Frontline Arts has been a beacon of community throughout New Jersey and the East Coast. We offer unmatched artmaking programs for veterans, frontline medical workers, and underrepresented communities, providing an outlet for them to reclaim their stories. As we look ahead to the next 50 years, we are committed to ensuring this community survives – and thrives, but we cannot do that without you. Our legacy is strong, and our future is even brighter with your help.
Frontline Arts serves more than 5,000 adults and children annually through educational print and papermaking classes, mobile workshops, exhibitions, and transformational programs like Frontline Paper for Veterans. We must raise $50,000+ by May 1 to secure our immediate six months of operation and give us a foundation to help us meet the century mark of service.
Frontline Arts at a Crossroads
Today we face a serious challenge, putting our future at risk. Without immediate financial support we could lose this invaluable creative space - and the community it serves. Consider donating today to keep this essential community hub open and services alive.
A space to dig in, get your hands dirty – no matter your level of expertise, and bring your stories to the surface - Frontline Arts is a vital place for connection, support, and creative expression. With community more important than ever, keeping our doors open ensures that veterans and others have a dependable and transformative outlet to reflect and heal through the power of artmaking. As funding sources fluctuate, brave independent spaces are needed more than ever to fill the gaps.
With your support, we hope to focus on what we do best:
- Teaching: Offering affordable and accessible art education for all.
- Sharing: Providing veterans, frontline medical workers, and underrepresented groups with platforms for their stories and work.
- Communing: Bringing people together across divides through collaborative artmaking.
- Communicating: Using printmaking and papermaking as powerful tools for dialogue, healing, and transformation.
We must raise $50,000+ by May 1 to sustain our work. Every dollar helps:
- $50: Art supplies for a printmaking workshop student.
- $250: A full scholarship to a printmaking or papermaking class for a veteran, medical worker, youth student, or other neighbors.
- $600: An interactive papermaking demonstration for a large group.
- $3,500: One week of general operating support to help keep our doors open.
- $5,000: An immersive 2-day workshop for frontline medical workers or veterans to deconstruct, reclaim, and communicate their experiences through art.
- $10,000: Six months of in-house papermaking for veterans.
- $14,000: One month of operating expenses.
- $20,000: Ongoing studio tech work, equipment repair, and upkeep for classes and workshops.
- $45,000: Coverage of programmatic and operational costs for the next 3 months (i.e., keeping the lights on and our staff paid!).
About Frontline Arts
Frontline Arts, formerly known as the Printmaking Center of New Jersey (PCNJ), was incorporated in 1974 in Branchburg, New Jersey. For more than 50 years, Frontline Arts has served the region with cultural events; printmaking, papermaking, other art classes; gallery exhibitions; and community outreach such as the Frontline Paper for veterans and Scrubs Program for healthcare workers.
Our mission is to connect communities through socially engaging arts practices rooted in papermaking and printmaking. We envision a future where everyone can engage in a safe space of commonality, connection, and empathy through the arts.
Commitment to Our Community
We serve a diverse community and likewise celebrate and pursue diversity among our staff. Our Frontline Paper team members are veterans, like the participants they serve. Our staff is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
We are grateful for your consideration!
Thank you for your support, and for being part of a community that believes in the power of art to heal, connect, and inspire. Together, we can ensure Frontline Arts remains a creative home for veterans, artists, and our entire community.
