Help Mohammed family

Hi my name is Shelley and I am fundraising on behalf of Mohammed and his family
here is their story
“ I am Mohammad Ayesh and my little brother Yasser Ayesh was born in the 2014 war. He developed a hard of hearing condition. My mother noticed his condition when he was 4 years old, acquired because of the pressure and sound of missiles (this condition is not hereditary). Yasser underwent a cochlear implant operation through an Qatari delegation that went to Gaza and performed the operation on some people. Thank God, the operation was successful. The implant is composed of a device inside the head and an external magnetic device which receives sound.
The external device is operated by batteries that are charged by electricity. With the blockade and destruction of most sources of power in the North, Yasser was forced to live for several days without hearing at all because of the lack of a source to charge it. And when Yasser was in the South, we also faced much difficulty: a quadcopter plane was roaming the streets killing civilians.
They were unable to leave the camp and charge Yasser’s device. As a result, Yasser is losing the ability to pronounce some of the words that we worked hard to teach him.
Yasser’s life was also difficult before the war. His speech therapy sessions, which required a lot of money, had to be paid on a session-by-session basis.
Yasser’s device becomes in-operational every now and then from the accumulation of sweat and the high temperatures we are forced to live in. The price of the device is very high, given its unavailability. If we decide to fix it, its repair would be very expensive. All of this is just one aspect of the exhaustion that Yasser is going through, besides the psychological exhaustion of being unable to express himself the way we do because of his speech impediment. I, Mohammad, used my pictures because I do not want to show my brother in a situation that makes me feel sad for him. I put a picture of Yasser before the war and a picture of him during the war.
The money raised will not only go towards the repair of Yasser's hearing device but also Yasser's speech therapy in the long term. It will also be used to rebuild our family's lives following the devastation of this war. Your donation will make a material difference in our lives.”
