How to support the Fryson-Brown Family

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today on behalf of my dear friends, the Fryson-Brown family, during an incredibly challenging time. Our beloved Dymond Fryson, a devoted mother to her two wonderful children, and a loving guardian to her niece, tragically left us far too soon. Her untimely passing has left her partner, Isaiah Brown, a dedicated school Principal in the Bronx, NY, in raising three beautiful little girls and their faithful dog. I turn to you, our community, for help and strength.

On the morning of January 25, 2024, in Teaneck, NJ, a tragedy unfolded as Dymond was on her way back home after dropping off her oldest daughter and niece at school. A reckless vehicle, driven by juveniles who sped through multiple stop signs, slammed into Dymond's vehicle. This collision was so impactful that it sent her vehicle crashing into her neighbor's house. As Dymond remained trapped in her car, fighting for her life, the juveniles fled the scene on foot. Dymond was then transported to a nearby hospital where it was determined that she had suffered brain death due to severe injuries to her spine and neck resulting from the crash.

In the wake of this devastating loss, the Fryson-Brown family is faced with unexpected expenses such as funeral costs, medical bills, and the daunting task of securing a future for their three young children. Additionally, her absence has left the family emotionally damaged, which, to repair, bears its own financial burdens. I humbly ask for your support in helping this grieving family navigate through these challenging times.
