Pemberton Cemetery Enhancement Project

The Cemetery Enhancement Project is going to continue moving forward this year. We feel that we can do so safely, and as we have already received considerable donations, we feel a responsibility to our donors to ensure this project progresses. We may not be able to complete the entire project this year, but our hope is to create the on-site parking and replace the fence by the end of this summer.

We realize that, given the current economic situation, this is not the ideal time to be requesting donations, and that many are not in a position to support this project. However, for those interested in showing support and are capable of doing so, we would sincerely appreciate any financial assistance.

The original fence for the cemetery in 1935 cost $53.30, of the $63 raised by the initial 'Notice to the Public.'  We are hoping to raise significantly more for this project!  For more information on our project, and for the history of the site, please visit our website at pembertoncemetery.ca .
