SUPPORT TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A NEW HOME

Hello, my name is Juan Olvera, I am 22 years old and I am of Mexican origin.

I have just completed a year living in California, I started living in the East Zone of Los Angeles, I was a victim of abuse by the man who rented me and based on that in September, out of urgency, I moved to the Pacific Palisades area to stay with some friends.

During these months I tried to get my life back on track with the help of a therapist.

I started working near my house in a restaurant and then I enrolled in a course to continue my high school studies and take an English course.

Everything was starting to go well, until on January 7th the fire started in the area where I lived with my friends.

We were ordered to evacuate because the risk of the house catching fire was very high, I only had time to take my important documents and some clothes and shoes, that night we arrived at a friend's house in Culver City, watching the news we found out that the warning had been fulfilled and we had become homeless, my friends decided to go with their relatives to another part of the country and I have to stay here, I have no family to go to, this friend kindly offered me lodging while I can find a place to live, but here there is another problem; the place where I worked was also destroyed by the fire and my boss disappeared, I tried to contact him, because I wanted to see if he could pay me what I had been working for, but I did not get a positive response.

My economic situation is bad, the savings I had I have used for food and transportation to move around the city looking for work, but I have not been successful in this.

I know that I am not the only one who is going through a bad time, there are many of us who are in this situation.

So I am doing this in the hope that you can help me reach my goal of being able to pay the rent for a new house and cover my expenses for a couple of months while I find a job, the amount doesn't matter, the intention matters.
