Dear Family and Friends,
Its with great excitement and humility that I announce that I have been selected to participate in the 64th Annual Debutante Ball sponsored by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated., the Beta Nu Zeta Chapter in Greensboro, NC.
The purpose of the Debutante Ball is to introduce eligible young women to society in the proper manner. It is a significant tradition of the sorority that originated more than half century ago.
As part of the Ball experience, Debutantes will participate in community service activities and attend various workshops on subjects such as: health, etiquette, writing an essay for college admission, and financial aid.
The Ball also provides its participants the opportunity to raise scholarship funds to continue their education at the collegiate level. Any contributions received after the deadline date of March 8, 2016 may not appear in the souvenir journal.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you give me on this journey to establish long lasting bonds among like-minded young women, to develop into a woman of sophistication and distinction, and to secure funds to assist in my collegiate goals.
