FSU Equestrian Club: Help Us Go To IDA Nationals
Donation protected
The Florida State University Equestrian Club strives to provide students an opportunity to compete and become involved within the equestrian community. Not only are our members provided a valuable education on horsemanship and equitation, but we provide an opportunity to create meaningful friendships along the way. The Dressage team within our club is one of the three disciplines we compete in at FSU. During competitions, riders are challenged to show horses they have never ridden before to display their riding skill.
This year, the FSU Equestrian Club has three competitive riders that have qualified for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association National Championships in Lexington, Virginia. Our Upper Training rider and Team Captain, Olivia Moreland has been on the team for two years and will be competing at Nationals for the last time before graduating this spring. Shira Hadar will be competing for the first time at IDA Nationals in Lower Level Dressage Seat Equitation after completing her first year of dressage. Chloe Bryl will also be competing for the first time at IDA Nationals in Introductory Dressage Seat Equitation. All of them have worked extremely hard for this opportunity by dedicating several hours to perfect their riding and showmanship. The competition will be taking place April 21-24, 2023.
Your donation will help these three riders compensate for:
• Trainer Fees
• Competition Entry Fees
• Traveling Expenses (i.e. rental car, hotels, plane tickets, etc.)
