Funeral and travel expense

Hi my name is Heather. My sister n law unexpectedly passed away last night. She lived in California with her daughters. My husband Jeff needs to go out there to help with funeral and comfort. All they have is each other left in their family. My goal is to help with cremation or whatever and get my husband there for support. Any help is appreciated.
