Freedom Through Education Campus (FTEC) gives hope to those who need it most!
Whether it is our brother or sister coming home from incarceration, struggling with addiction or simply struggling with their current transition in life, we are committed to serving those in need of achieving sustainable independence; a transition into the fulfilling life they desire and deserve.
FTEC has entered into a major venture assisting formerly incarcerated men with their transition back into the community. One of the major hurdles these men face is housing.
We have opened a 10-unit apartment complex, housing 40 men in a Sober Living Environment that will assist the men and their families with getting back on their feet and moving forward. The complex and the apartments have all been cleaned up and renovated. This venture will be self-sustaining when funding is obtained in 120 days but until then, the start-up costs are adding up quickly. These costs have been essential to providing the necessary service to help these men and their families move forward.
We are looking to raise $15,000 to cover these start-up costs.
Following is a list of costs we have incurred during start-up:
$4,000 - Van for transporting clients to various appointments
$6,000 - Utilities and Security
$1,000 - Client Supplies (toiletries, etc .)
$2,000 - Office Equipment and Supplies
$2,000 - Food and Cleaning Supplies
$15,000 TOTAL START-UP COSTS
