Support the Victims of the Riverside Village Fire
Tax deductible
The Auburn Food Bank is collecting funds to benefit the residents of the Riverside Village Apartment fire. The November 7 fire damaged 20 of the 36 units and 7 units are completely destroyed. It is unclear if or when the residents will be able to continue to live there or will need to move. Overall there are about 60 people impacted by this tragedy.
The residents range in age from small children to elder adults and all will need our help to get back on their feet. Your donations will help them recover what they have lost and establish new homes for themselves and their families.
They are currently being helped by the City of Auburn Emergency Management, Red Cross and others to keep them stable for the short term but longer term assistance will be needed. All funds collected will go directly to the residents in need to assist with replacing lost items, costs related to restore their homes, purchase food or other needed items, or other expenses related to recovering from the fire.
