Alcubierre Prize for FTL Research

Miguel Alcubierre was the first physicist to design a way to make a Faster Than Light spaceship. Physicists continue to improve and extend his original design. This money is to pay for a graduate student to study under Miguel and to take care of the bi-yearly contest for the best new paper in the field of FTL travel.  The final goal is to create a c-Prize to give to the first group that actually instantiates FTL travel. $100M to the first group to transport a human FTL for more than 10 parsecs.
