David is my nephew. My sister and her boyfriend have been abusing him, and I called CPS and the police almost a year ago trying to protect him. My sister then went MIA, no one had seen or heard from her. She refused to let family know where she lived. Yesterday  (9/14/20) my ex brother in law, was contacted by CPS and was told that David was beat, he wasn't breathing when paramedics got there. They were able to bring him back, but he's already coded again. As of right now, we are at a standstill. The doctors say his body is too weak to fight, he went too long without oxygen and now has no brain activity. My mom ( before my sister went MIA ) was taking care of him from the day he was born until a year ago when she left my moms home. She tried to get my sister to sign over custody to her, but my sister refused and threatened that if my mom took her to court she would never see either one of the kids again (David and his little sister - her dad is different than David's and he was also arrested on charges for abuse, David's father lives in Texas..this is all happening in California). So my mom was terrified not knowing what to do. I called Cps so we could try to protect him but they ignored the call. The police went to their apartment and walked around, said it was clean and there was food, everything looked fine. Now he is laying in the hospital, not expected to make it until Friday (when his dad is able to come out to be with him). I am in Oklahoma and I am trying to do as much as I can to try to help my family from a distance. Please if anything just keep David in your prayers   he needs all the prayers he can get. We need a miracle.
