La artista reconocida como Roxana Gata del Viejo San Juan sufrió un fuego que consumió gran parte de su casa. Su seguro privado no cubrió todos los daños. Agradecemos su humilde aportación para cubrir los gastos de reparaciones y pueda regresar lo antes posible a su hogar donde vive hace más de treinta y cinco años.

Querida familia, amistades y vecines:
Es con profunda tristeza que les comunicamos un infortunio que sufrió nuestra querida madre, artista, cantante y Sanjuanera, Roxana Riera Gata, a causa de un intenso fuego en su edificio el pasado miércoles 21 de octubre de 2020. Agradecemos al universo, los dioses y las diosas, porque nuestra mamá está viva. Sin embargo, su casa sufrió serios daños, es peligroso que vuelva a su casa y desafortunadamente el seguro no lo cubre del todo. Hoy, con mucha humildad, pedimos su ayuda. Cualquier aportación es bienvenida. Quienes conocen a nuestra mamá saben lo cariñosa y generosa que es. Ella ha ayudado a mucha gente a lo largo de su vida y hoy le toca a ella. Ayúdenos a que nuestra madre pueda regresar al que ha sido su hogar por más de treinta y cinco años.

It is with great sadness that we share with you all a devastating incident that has affected and shaken our entire family. The building where our beautiful mother, visual artist, singer, and Sanjuanera, Roxana Riera Gata, suffered an intense fire on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020. We are grateful and happy she’s alive - thanks to the universe and gods, however the damages in her apartment, which has been her home for over thirty five years, are severe and need immediate attention. She is currently unable to return to her house, it is not safe at all. Unfortunately, her home insurance won't cover all the costs and we are humbly asking for your help! Many of you know our mom and have witnessed her love and generosity. She has helped so many and today she needs you. No amount is small. Every amount is greatly appreciated. Please help us reach our goal so that our mom can return to her home and be safe again.
