Fuel and Food for Refugee Evac Centre Kyiv

A good friend of mine for 10 years or so is Anton - a Pastor with the Evangelical Free denomination in Kyiv Ukraine. Anton’s Father Antonoli is the Bishop. Both have remained in Kyiv throughout the invasion. The main Evangelical Free church has become one of many hubs that are assisting refugees out of danger zones. Refugees are bought to the hub, fed and tended to medically if necessary, then taken on buses to safe cities throughout Ukraine. Thankfully they had 2 x 51 seater buses donated and also a smaller van to aid their efforts. In the past few weeks this one evac site has moved about 3000 refugees to safety.

The cost of fuel for continually running the buses is about USD$1500 per week. The cost of food at the shelter is about USD$1000 per week. This is becoming unsustainable. We’d like to initially cover these costs for the next 2 weeks then see where we go from there.

100% of proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Evangelical Free Church in Kyiv for the purchase of fuel and food only.
