Fuel Anthony's Dream of a Community Game Store

Hello, my name is Anthony and we are searching for funds to open an LGS (Local Game Store) in our hometown. We have the plan set up, however, we need the capital to make this dream a reality.

Our location is intended to have free coffee and tea available for all individuals, a tavern-like atmosphere, simple food service, a gaming space for tournaments, prereleases, general play, and depending on the size of the location allowing reserved spaces for individuals to use for their own organized tournaments or even TTRPGs.

While we intend for most sales to come from our community, we also will provide online sales of stocked products.

Those products will include the newest MTG sets, Pokémon, Lorcana, and Tabletop RPG books, and Minis. There are other products in mind, however, we would like to work with artists in the community for those.

Funds will go to:

Rent for the Location. $20k-$30k/yr

Keeping the store stocked with products. $100k

Initial cost of bills as we get fully established. $12k/yr

Total: $142k

Food Service costs:

Licensing. $15 per employee. (Up to $2000 if the city decides to charge that much.)

Food Costs. $200-$300/wk. (possible for it to be more based on traffic.)

Total Overall: $150,600

Remaining funds will go to working with local artists to create other products for sale. Playmats, card sleeves, dice, and other creative ideas from those individuals.
