Fuel Be Tactile's Mission for Blind Creativity

Donation protected

We are pleased to introduce you to Be Tactile, a program offered by Kreative Keepsake. The program idea was formed after I visited a blind organization and was asked to speak about sharing my medical journey I overcame utilizing creative therapy.
Within the blind community, there is no access to paper art tools to teach how to be creative in the paper art capacity, which you have come to love. I found this unacceptable and began to create a solution to meet the needs of these individuals.
Through much reflection, this opportunity inspired me through a ‘God-download’ calling and qualified me to share my gift with the blind community. Eleven months later, a program meant for ALL abilities with a focus on the blind has been created.
The program introduces the concepts of the different paper and glue types, textured raised surfaces, metal dies, and how to use an accucut machine (creating this foundation instills the process of start to finish even if making items in a group setting and items are pre-cut).
There are several reasons to share this program created by Be Tactile so that you can understand and learn more about how we are developing and expanding. There are steps within the foundations that you may be interested in assisting us with.
Who do you know who is blind and could benefit from the independence, confidence, and freedom of having back the ability to be creative?
Additionally, we have a financial need for support that you may assist, or know of other organizations that may provide assistance to enhance our ability to move this program forward.
We have a wonderful opportunity to meet with members on a national level July 3-8, 2024 at the National Federation of the Blind in Orlando. We are requesting financial support for attendance and related expenses for the ability to introduce our Be Tactile programs to organizations that will benefit.
Additionally, we are seeking financial support for the final funding requirements and supplies needed. There are investment costs of filming, editing videos, offering audio options, copywriting and trademarking, website costs, and branding.
We anticipate the total investment required to be $6,000 to cover the travel expenses for the Orlando Conference and the additional needs for video production.
We graciously request consideration for the Be Tactile programs in your prayers. Our goal is to achieve success around the globe and for every abled person to have access in their home and community to make paper art again or for the first time.
The idea of creating a program that is accessible to every abled body that wants to be able to “Be Tactile” is the origin story of the business name.
Please refer to the link below to connect through Zelle. If preferred, mail your check to the address at the top of this letter. If mailing, please call, text, or email to alert us so we may be aware and acknowledge receipt and confirmation to you.
