Fuel Emma Snyder's Journey in Filmmaking

Hello there! I’m Emma Snyder, an undergraduate film student at Columbia College Chicago, and I’m in the process of directing my largest passion project to date!

Director's Reel:

My short film, Loose Lace, is a unique exploration of workplace isolation and the universal desire for companionship. This story is inspired by my personal experience in the food service and retail industry and my love for rollerskating.

Logline:

When a tired waiter at a mom-and-pop pizzeria is the only witness to a rollerskating woman being harassed on the street, he’s forced to decide whether or not to intervene.

Moodboard:

I’m fortunate enough to collaborate with eight brilliant crew members and two remarkably gifted actors whose talent will surely bring this project to life.
