Hello!

We’re Eric and Ethan.

I (Eric) am 23, Ethan’s soon to be 22. We’re both from the Fox Valley Area, and here’s what we’re trying to do:

our ultimate goal is to leave Sunday night (10/13)

We’re to raise funds and supplies to go and help anyone we can after this next hurricane rolls through the southern portion of the country. Ethan has cousins in NC, and I’ve got some close friends in Florida that we’ve been in contact with, trying to find ways we can help, and generating a list of supplies to bring. The best plan we’ve come up with is getting a box truck, loading it down with whatever we can take with us, from food, water to farm supplies for local farmers. Shutting the door and making our way thatta way.

It’s been weighing on my mind ever since Ethan mentioned a few weeks back that he’s heard stories of places sending people down to help, and out of the blue this morning (10/8) Ethan texted me saying “Listen no joke here I know neither of us have the money to do so but can we say screw it and gather the boys together and go down to North Carolina and them states with hurricane and help out in some way? Load our trucks with anything we can think of that would be useful and go?

I got a guy that’s gonna send me some info on a group trying to get together where there pretty much just loading up pick up trucks and going”

We’re trying to do more than just pick-up trucks. Realistically, nothing either of us own is a viable option for going that far. We’ve both been reaching out since this morning to local companies to see if they’d have interest in “sponsoring” a box truck, however even if they would, we’d still run into the issue of fuel costs. Money’s tight on both of our ends, and that’s our biggest obstacle right now. We’re perfectly content with sleeping in the truck. Anything raised here 110% WILL go to helping those who need it, and getting us there along the way.

We understand that money’s tight for everyone, but if even 10% of Appleton alone just donated $1, we’d be at our goal and then some.

We’re bound and determined to make this happen. Both Ethan, and I are 100% committed, and We’ve had plenty of friends already volunteer to come with. We’d very much so appreciate it if you’d Help us, help others. And, like we said 110% of anything raised here WILL go to helping people who need it. That’s all we’re trying to do.
