Fuel Eric LeMarque's Journey to Paralympics

Hello Friends,

I’m Eric LeMarque, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. My path has been shaped by a remarkable survival story, and today, I stand as a testament to the strength and inspiration of the human spirit.

My journey began with a challenging ordeal, having lost my Olympic feet to frostbite. This experience transformed my life and fueled my determination to achieve something truly unprecedented: to be the first person ever to compete in both the able-bodied Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics in different sports.

In 1994, I had the honor of competing in ice hockey at the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. Now, I am setting my sights on the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Milano Cortina, where I aim to compete in border-cross snowboarding. This would make me the first to cross over into these elite arenas in two distinct sports.

To turn this dream into reality, I need support for travel, expenses, and essential equipment to qualify for the Paralympics. Your contribution will not only help me reach this goal but also allow me to spread a message of hope and perseverance. Despite the obstacles, I am committed to snowboarding up to 100 times each season to qualify and strive for victory.
