Fuel MHA-M's Journey to Mental Health Support

Mental Health America in Montgomery (MHA-M), a local affiliate of Mental Health America, is concerned with all aspects of mental illness and mental health. Our primary focus is on adults with mental health issues who are at risk of being psychiatrically hospitalized. To that end, we operate a PsychoSocial Club that provides mental health and life skills education, socialization, community integration, and employment opportunities.

We are currently in desperate need of a new van to transport our members to and from our facility (Most would not be able to make it without our transportation services). Our current vehicle is both too small and in need of repairs. We are working on a communal grant that will provide a new van, but we have to match a certain amount of funds to qualify for the van. We are so close to achieving this goal.
