We are New Wave Theatre Company, a group of creative professionals working to revolutionize the arts industry as we know it by creating accessible opportunities to empower emerging artists and uniting the Chicago theatre community.
We're thrilled to announce our first production happening in November 2024: This is ART.
As part of our mission, we want to be transparent about how much money it costs to make theatre that provides accessible opportunities to new artists and stays affordable for audience members. To produce This is ART, we have a fundraising goal of exactly $3,035.
This $3,035 will cover the following expenses:
- Honorariums for our production team: $1,350
- Venue rental: $1,000
- Production materials: $385
- Event insurance: $300
To get you even more excited about making a contribution, we are offering the following donor benefits for varying tiers:
- Community Supporter ($10+): Every single individual contribution helps to sustain our community-centered approach to accessible programming. You are an integral part of this company!
- Overachiever ($25+): You went above and beyond! Thank you so much for your support.
- Arts Champion ($50+): Your contribution at this tier covers the average cost of all equipment and supplies necessary for one of our engagement events.
- Local Hero ($100+): You will receive two complimentary tickets to This is ART. This tier will also (with your permission) get you special recognition on our website and promotional materials.
- Superhuman ($500): You will receive all Local Hero benefits, plus an invitation to the designer run of This is ART and a personal letter of thanks from leadership.
