BraverMountain's final push to Iditarod!

It's time for Quince and the team to make their final push to the start line of Iditarod 2025! This community helped Q to become the first openly trans musher in Iditarod history, and now it's time for him to complete the journey.

We've received tremendous encouragement and support to make it this far, and with events and advance contributions, almost half of the race budget is already taken care of. This is an amazing community of #uglydogs, and we are so excited to honor the support each of you has given to get us here.

Once again, we'll be offering our Iditatees and Iditarod 2025 team merch as a not-for-profit to keep prices for those accessible to as many as possible. For funding, we'd rather people offer what they are moved to here, and we will have some really fun wearable stuff for everyone to celebrate as soon as we meet our goal. :)

Some of our expenses to take this on include race sign-up ($4,000), dog booties for the race/training this season ($4,000), rookie meeting/travel ($2,000), fuel/travel to AK for the team as well as travel expenses to/from restart ($4,400), shipping of drop bags for the race ($1250), six sets of runner plastics ($500), kibble for the race itself ($1,000), storage unit rental for two months ($240), meat for the race ($2700), supplies for the race ($2700), travel expenses for co-driver ($900), training diet, veterinary fees (for race-related exams/needs), hotel for ceremonial start, performance diet for intensive training, mechanical SNAFUs, and so on. This is an endeavor far above and beyond what we normally do, and we truly couldn't do it without your support. Ya'll have gotten us here, and it feels like a miracle already. The race is happening in two short weeks, and, as we continue to prepare and train in AK, this final push will set us up for our best effort possible!
