Team 51 “Wings of Fire” from Pontiac, Michigan, is more than just a robotics team — they’re a group of determined, creative, and hardworking students who are defying the odds. In a school district where resources are limited and challenges are many, these students have built a world-class robot and earned a spot to compete at the prestigious FIRST Robotics World Championship. But now, they’re facing a heartbreaking reality: without critical funding, they won’t be able to go.
