Pictured are two young guys at Russell High School who have a passion for fishing and God. They spent days knocking on doors, attending meetings, seeking support for a high school bass fishing team. THROUGH ALL THE HARDSHIPS, THEY NEVER LET THE IDEA FADE...

These boys started the Russell High School bass fishing team. And in their final year of school, they did the unthinkable....they qualified for nationals....a dream come true. The story with the perfect ending...almost. When asked if they were going to nationals, they replied no...that the costs were simply too high. Their perfect story has fallen just short...
